It's a challenge for Australia to set fresh records.

The top summits have already been conquered.

We're talking about the team that has won seven Cricket World Cups, in addition to an additional six T20 titles, and previously enjoyed 1,294 days without defeat in 50-over cricket.

The remaining milestones, targeted by the achievement hunters, are the only things left for a side that has achieved everything.

The fact it required up to Sunday's victory by three wickets over India for them to accomplish their maiden ODI chase over 300, taking back their record for the highest in the female 50-over format, is, in truth, a compliment to the bowlers that have represented Australia over the past 50 years.

Whether this newest brilliant performance topped that previous effort remains open for discussion.

Certain people claim the case for the pressure of a final. Others can counter with the difficulty that comes when pursuing an unprecedented total and an enthusiastic Indian fanbase of 20,000.

What is certain is this ton was much more difficult to see coming.

The New Zealand onslaught in 2022 happened while she topped the run-scoring charts, but this knock came after six matches in India since the start of last month in which she had not exceeded 30 runs.

"If you've been watching me in training, it's been a disappointing period because it appeared I've had no rhythm at all," commented Healy.

"Yet the moment you enter the playing area, your competitive instincts kick in and you just lock into the match."

Healy's fighting spirit has continuously been her great strength - and an invaluable trait in taking over from famous previous leader Meg Lanning.

She was troubled by India's promising player Kranti Gaud in recent ODI series, dismissed by the emerging pace bowler in all three matches, but this time it merely gave Healy's inspiration.

One run resulted off the opening delivery and after that the batsman was underway.

"An opportunity to take the field and face the challenge with her and merely enjoy the moment that way, kind of motivated me," commented Healy.

She got to fifty in 35 pitches - her fastest at the global tournament - and her century in 84 deliveries while she flogged anything short, striking 21 boundaries and three maximums.

Once she was out the team needed 66 additional runs at run per delivery - an unconquered height now requiring a leisurely stroll.

"Chasing 330 runs is unfamiliar ground so I'm pleased we have the belief to achieve that now," stated Healy further.

"Ideally we won't need to repeat it but, should it happen, we believe we can achieve it."

That comment will be the last competing nations at this tournament should hear.

In recent days a feeling they will triumph from any situation has grown stronger - this success following victory over Pakistan by 107 run margin despite being 76-7 at a certain moment.

Subsequently Australia meet Bangladesh before an encounter with longtime competitors England in Indore in 10 days, by which point a semi-final place may likely be confirmed.

It was in the semi-finals they exited last year's T20 World Cup in a surprising setback by South Africa - a game Healy couldn't play because of ruptured tissue in her foot as she captained her nation for the first time at a significant event.
